There are three kinds of enemies.
The first are enemies who want your physical body dead. Of courses this is done through killing the person.
Second are enemies who want your emotional body dead. The way that an enemy destroys a person’s emotional body is to destroy their relationships. Relationships protect the emotional body. These relationships can be to people, groups of people, or to ideals and mental interest.
Third are enemies who want your intellectual body dead. One of the ways to do this is to insist that a person believe in a certain way. Not giving any freedom to investigate facts or beliefs deadens the intellect. The other way to kill a person intellectually is to force them to believe things which are obviously untrue. This doesn’t kill the intellect, but rather fractures it so it is mostly useless to the person.
